Flagstone Installation Process by DJ Giles

First, we pressure washed the area using no chemicals. Second, we rolled a bonding agent onto the concrete surface as you see in the first picture. This will strengthen the bond between the concrete and the mortar under the stone.

In the second picture you see the Gray Ashlar Stone beginning to be installed on the floor. We used the same bonding agent and added it to our mortar mix to set the stone in. This also strengthens the bond between the mortar and the stone.

***Quick Tip: While you have your pressure washer out, clean both sides of the stone thoroughly. This is a simple step that is often overlooked and can cause major problems. Mortar does not bond to dirt! This process takes longer, but it’s well worth it :)

One word…Zen! by DJ Giles

To spruce things up a bit, we have added beautiful accent boulders and hidden pathways to this client’s landscape. Time for them to enjoy this Relaxing Oasis!

Residential Pool Waterfall by DJ Giles

These clients were so fun and awesome to work with! I’m glad they let me be part of their transformation! Tell Amelia (pot-bellied pig) that I miss her and I would never turn my back on her, lol :)
